July 2011 - Fantastic Villa
Being our 5 time in Florida we were hoping to have a pretty amazing villa and we were certainly not let down. This beautiful villa had everything that you would ever need, fully equipped for children all ages, beautifully furnished and the perfect location. Not too far from all the attractions. There were 14 in our party and there was more than enough room for everyone. We were all delighted to discover the alligator in the lake behind the villa. Many hours were spent trying to locate the alligator to take pictures back home. Thank you Lyn and Jim for letting us spend out holiday in your beautiful home.

Orlando 2011
We have just returned from our holiday to Orland and we had a fantastic time it was made very easy when we booked the Lake Berkley Villa, it was only 15 minutes away from Disney and easy reach of restaurants and supper market. Jim and Lynn e-mailed the confirmation as soon as we booked it and the directions to the villa were very good, we did not get lost, which is a bonus for me!
On arriving at the villa is was a wow factor it was very big and very clean, and you didn’t need anything as it was all provided and if you travelled with a baby you would not have to take anything with you as it is all there.
The Pool was very warm, which was lovely when you come home from a long day at the parks the kids went for a swim and we just sat back and relaxed in the Jacuzzi, it was bliss.
What I thought was amazing that there wasn’t any insect in the villa. I travel quite a lot and when visiting hot countries you always get the odd ant.
I felt very at home at the Lake Berkley and very safe, my children loved the games room and the pool, and I enjoyed the Jacuzzi and relaxing in a nice air conditions villa.
I would like to thank Jim and Lynn for letting us stay at your lovely holiday home, and I will be booking your villa again next time we visit.

Superb Villa
We visit America very regularly but this was our first time to Florida, the Villa & it's surroundings made this holiday one of the best. The Grandchildren loved their bedrooms. The swimming pool was fantastic worth the bit extra to have it heated. The games room was used daily . Good time had by all.

MY EXPERIENCE
Our group, 4 kids under 6 my wife and I.
Sister in-law, brother in-law, niece and father in-law. All ten of us rate this place as amazing. I always struggle
with the unkowns of booking something with little knowledge, Lyn was truly a sweetheart to deal with. You really can't beat the location, the house and the owners hands own approach to helping you with questions. I recommend whole heartly and as far as listing of all the things I loved they are all in the description of the place anyway. Thanks again Lyn, and I know we will be back!

Fab Florida house
Excellent location with a great position overlooking the lake, where we often saw an alligator,an eagle fishing, many types of birds and fish. Also a great house for families to share together with plenty of space, close to the parks, golf courses and best of all great shopping.

Ready to go again
We had a great time, the pool, the recreation room and the backyard view was outstanding. We did not feel pressure to take the team out for other entertainment because everything we need was right there. The location was perfect lots of space the team enjoyed the tennis court and basketball court. I will use the property again.

Exceeds Expectations!
We have vacationed at this home 2 years in a row. Both times the home has exceeded our expectations. If you are traveling with a large group or family this is the best way to do it. The home has lots of space and everything else that you need. It was so nice to have a large kitchen to cook meals in and a place for everyone to sit. The home is in a great location that is easy to get around in. Wal-Mart is right around the corner which was great. We loved the private pool, and also the pool at the clubhouse. You can't go wrong renting this villa.

The best vacation home in Florida by far!
We stayed at this AMAZING Villa in May of 2009. It is absolutely breath taking. The house is arranged perfectly for large groups. The decor is incredible, and it will feel like home your whole stay. I was truly sad when my vacation was over and I had to return home. The lake behind it is teeming with fish you can catch, and it is extremely convenient to get to all the Orlando attractions. I have stayed at several other villas in the past, but will ALWAYS stay here from now on.

Simply Amazing
Our family of 8 stayed at Lyn and Jim's vacation home on our trip to Orlando this past May, 2010. In 2001, we stayed at a different property in Lake Berkley. We can honestly say, this home is the nicest vacation home in Lake Berkley, hands down. The house is very clean and decorated beautifully. There are all the comforts of home with loads of extras. The kids loved swimming in the pool every day and fishing in the pond every night. There was plenty of fishing equipment for our use, too! The kitchen is a masterpiece of it's own. The table in the kitchen seats 12 and our family spent a lot of time at that wonderful table. Lake Berkley is only minutes from Disney World and less than 20 minutes from Universal. There are many good restaurants close by and the Wal-Mart Super Center is just around the corner for groceries and other items you may need for your trip. We look forward to many, many years of staying at Lyn and Jim's villa. Thank you so much for making our trip so enjoyable.

Great place to stay
I found a listing for this Villa and decided to book it for us to stay at during our spring golf trip. Upon arriving, I realized it was better than I had imagined. The gated community is quiet and secure and the location is convenient to all major attractions. The Villa is quality throughout and includes a beautiful pool and also a jacuzzi to relax in after a long day. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and I look forward to staying there again in the future.

Great house!
We stayed at this house in Jan 2010. We shared it with three other families - the house is layed out in a way that each family had it's own space and we were able to hang out together in the kitchen, great room and of course around the pool. It is in a safe, clean and quite neighbourhood - and really only a few minutes from groceries, and Disney parks. The house is well kept - and really made for a great vacation home. We would definately go back and I'd recommend to friends too.

Home from home
We stayed at Roughtallys on our first visit to Florida in Oct 2009. There were 3 families sharing and we had the most amazing time. Lyn is extremely helpful when contacting for guidance & the property is perfect.
We had the most comfortable sleeps after long days out & spent a lot of time at the villa in the evenings. The kids loved the games room & the pool & we felt very relaxed here.
The property is well equipped & has every possible amenity without any fuss.
If you are looking to go book early s the villa is very popular as we found for next year but we are hoping to go back & stay in 2012 & will be booking roughtally's again.

Wonderful Home
My family and I have been renting vacation homes in the Orlando area for many years and this was definitely one of the best ones that we've stayed in. The perfect amount of bedrooms for a large family, accomodating adults and kids without being on top of eachother. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. I rented two others homes in Lake Berkley at the same time since we were having a family reunion and on the night of arrival I hosted a dinner/get together at this home and there was more than enough room between the living, dining, family rooms and kitchen. And I would definitely rent this home again just for the kitchen. Its the place people just seem to gather, and to have all that seating available was just fantastic. I dealt with the owner directly and she was wonderful and we got an absolutely incredible price for the 7 nights.
