Formosa Gardens 4 Bedroom 3 Bath Florida Villa

The family room is in the center of the house with a door to the pool area.  The room is open to the foyer and the breakfast nook.  There is a large screen (47 inch) television and DVD player.   

The den is a cozy place to sit and chat or close the doors to curl up and read a book.  There is a queen sized convertible bed so two more people can sleep here in privacy.  There is a TV tucked away in a cabinet.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar and opens to the breakfast nook.  There is a refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher and a stove/oven/range.  The cupboards are stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans.  There is a coffeemaker, toaster, electric tea kettle and blender.  The drawers contain cooking and eating utensils, potholders and other kitchen necessities.

The laundry is in a separate room which contains a clothes washer and dryer as well as an iron and ironing board.

Bedroom 3 has two single beds, TV w/vcr and a ceiling fan.  This themed room has a mural of vines and swinging monkeys around the room with an additional mural of the tree of life on one wall. 

Bedroom 4 has two single beds, TV w/vcr and a ceiling fan.  There is a wall border of panda bears with bamboo.  Some small panda bears reside in the room for the young at heart but can be tucked away.

Bathroom 1 is ensuite.  It has double sinks, soaker tub, walk in shower and separate wc.

Bathroom 2 is ensuite.  It has a single sink, wc and walk in shower.

Bathroom 3 is the hall bath.  It has a single sink, wc and combination tub/shower.  There is also a door to the pool deck.

The brand new, fully air conditioned game room with ceiling fan has a large screen (50 inch) TV and a BluRay DVD player.  There is a couch that includes two recliners for comfortable movie watching.  Some of the items in the game room are a large air hockey table with lights, a foosball table, a Wii game console with games, a train table with trains and tracks, board games for all ages, toys and books, etc. 

There are DVDs and videos available to watch.

The entire villa is air conditioned but I have mentioned it here because many game rooms in the area do not have air conditioning.

The inviting pool is 14 feet by 29 feet so is larger than most pools that you will find at 4 bedroom villas.  There is a built in spa and  there are plenty of loungers for sunning. 

There is a table with chairs for relaxing or dining under the covered area adjacent to the house.

The three doors leading to the pool all have loud safety alarms.

The villa sits on over 1/3 acre so there is a large garden.

There is a gas grill for barbecuing.

We picked this villa because we had stayed in the Formosa Garden area before and it is so close and handy for everything Disney related. Everything, EVERYTHING about this villa is easy.... to find, the owner correspondence, it was a pleasure. From the moment we drew up in the car it took our breath away, it was everything we were looking for and more. Spotlessly clean, modern, beautifully and tastefully decorated, and above anything else, comfortable with a capital C. The pool area isn't overlooked and it has a separate sunbathing deck! Wi-fi provided, the jaquzzi heated. I can not praise the standard of this home enough. The kids loved it as much as the adults. What a games room..... it's amazing. The Formosa shopping area is great too with a tremendous Outback steak restaurant that also does a take away service..... yes we were that sad, we got to the stage where you had to prise us out of the villa. This home was the highlight of stay, it made our holiday as we were terribly unlucky with the weather, but's that's Florida!! That was my ninth visit to Orlando and by a mile the best accomodation bar none. We are returning next year and hopefully Carolyn can fit us in for another stay as i would not look past this home. In one word, FABULOUS.
